Uniform Information

All registered athletes must wear our centre uniform when competing in Little Athletics competitions. Club Uniforms can be purchased online from our partner Sportsmagic, and picked up from the centre at the start of each season https://sportsmagic.com.au

Appropriate sports footwear is compulsory for all athletes in all events. No athlete may wear football boots or cleats in any event.

Spikes are not compulsory, but if you choose to wear them, the following rules apply. Athletes in the U9 – U10 age group may not wear spike shoes. Athletes in the U11 – U12 age group may wear spike shoes in events run entirely in lanes, long jump, triple jump, high jump and javelin. Athletes in the U13 – U15 age groups may wear spike shoes in all track events except walks. Spike shoes may also be worn for long jump, triple jump, high jump and javelin.

Hats and Hoodie jumper is now available for purchase also as apart of our club uniform. Please always ensure you are protecting yourself from the UV by being sun safe especially whilst waiting for events.

You can read the full rules in the Standard Rules for Competition of Little Athletics Australia (Rule 143).

There are registration and age patches that need to be applied to the centre uniform. It is important that these are placed in the correct location.

As shown in the diagram, the Registration (‘Bib’) number must be attached to the centre front of tops, while the Age Patch (incorporating the Coles logo) must be attached to the top – on either the left or right side.  The Age Patch may partially overlap the Bib – if necessary (eg. small size crop top) – but must not cover any part of the McDonalds “M”, the Bib number, Season Year, or the WWPLAC logo.

IMPORTANT: No bib or age number – means not able to compete in championships!
